Watching Will and Grace

I'm watching Will and Grace.  Does anyone watch this show?   I think it is one of the funniest shows on television.  These people deserve an Emmy.

Cloudy Day

Today was lazy. I read two books and took a nap earlier. I'm in the middle of another book that I will be doing for review. I might start posting links to my reviews.

This is my last day before I return to work tomorrow. We had very strong showers about an hour ago and I called my friend seven miles away and she said it was not raining over there.

I will be working in Excel all day tomorrow. Yesterday I was on IM with three people at the same time; that was fun. This is all for today. I lead such an uninteresting life.

Today, Sunday was a very good day. I was online quite a bit and received quite a few comments by email on this Blog. I'm happy with my first try. Of course I will be tweaking it and I thank you for your comments.

I received a call my my cousin in NJ and her son is getting married in the Virgin Islands in November. She wants me to go but it's just for a weekend. That's a lot of money to spend. I'll have to think on that.

NEW YORK -- It was a memorial service that ended with an all-star rendition of a Luther Vandross hit song.

Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Usher and Alicia Keys gathered in New York's Riverside Church Friday for Vandross' funeral. Luther died last week at a New Jersey hospital, two years after suffering a stroke. He was 54.

In his long career, Vandross sold more than 25 million records. His gold coffin sat at the foot of the altar as LaBelle read a poem written by the late singer's mother.

Mourners lined up for two city blocks in a driving rain before the church opened. Inside, they were brought to their feet and moved to cheers as Wonder, Franklin and Cissy Houston sang in tribute. Franklin had the choir and the clergy dancing on the altar with her version of "Amazing Grace." The singers ended the service by joining in the Vandross hit, "Power of Love/Love Power." God Bless You Luther. You have joined a massive choir in Heaven.

Gone but definitely not forgotten.
Hi and welcome to my ramblings.
My heart is still so heavy with the passing of "Obie" Benson of the Four Tops and of course, the wonderful Luther Vandross. I will post more later.
